Rethinking Your Commute

As we prepare for the I-10 Widening construction project, commuters will have the opportunity to rethink their commutes. During the time of construction choosing new routes and utilizing alternative transportation options, can help relieve some stress, time, and money from your commutes.

The Capital Region Planning Commission is launching a regional commuter survey to evaluate the interest from commuters and employers for on-demand (shuttle, group ride sharing, microtransit, dial a ride) and vanpool services. Your responses will help us serve our communities by increasing demand for ridership via these modes of alternative transportation. Please share your thoughts with us by completing this short survey so that we may gain insight on your current travel patterns.
